Hairspray Revival by The Glees Musical Society
For one day only you can enjoy a revival of the ever popular “Hairspray” in 2 one
hour specials .
The ”Glee Singers”, as we are known locally, prides itself on being a cross community group dedicated to promoting the art of musical performance in all our members and striving to promote the arts and strengthen community bonds with our young people. We own the Annesley Hall where we rehearse and perform and this allows us to provide a safe environment for the young people and many have joined our senior Company when they have grown too old to be in the Junior Company.
Over the years we have done many junior productions like Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White etc and this year the juniors will be staging Wizard of Oz on Saturday 2 nd January 2010 [a matinee and evening performance] and again on Friday 8 th and Sat 9 th January 2010.
